Judge Judith Billings

Judge Billings is a member of the Utah Court of Appeals. Highly respected and well known in her profession, Judge Billings received her JD from the University of Utah Law School where she was a member of the Law Review and Order of the Coif.  She received an LLM from the University of Virginia Law School.  She has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Utah Law School, and a faculty member of the National Judicial College.

 She is past chair of the Appellate Judges Conference of the ABA, and a member of the Conference’s Education Committee.  She is also a member of the National Judicial College’s Board of Trustees, a member of the ABA Public Education Standing Committee, a member of the American Law Institute, and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.  She is a past president of the National Association of Woman Judges.

 Judge Billlings has been named as Utah Woman Lawyer of the Year, and received the Distinguished Alumni Award of the University Of Utah College of Humanities and the University of Utah College of Law.
