WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF ENLIBRA?
The Oquirrh Institute is excited to announce the production of the first edition of the Enlibra Toolkit. It will explore each principle in depth and will provide readers with case studies, lessons learned, and the tools necessary to solve complex environmental problems. The Toolkit is expected to be available to the public in late September 2003. We also anticipate that the Toolkit will be available on the Web in late 2003.
In addition, The Oquirrh Institute has plans to develop a "Toolkit Training Program." The training will be available for federal, state, and local policy makers, agency leaders, industry decision makers, and environmental groups. Training programs will be available to a nationwide audience beginning late in 2003.
Western Governors' University, in conjunction with the Oquirrh Institute, is currently working on the development of an environmental management certification curriculum based on the Toolkit. The certification will come as organizations are trained and adopt Enlibra as their environmental philosophy. This program will be developed over the next year and will hopefully be available in late 2004 or early 2005.
The Oquirrh Institute will also implement an Awards Program that will award organizations and companies who demonstrate their best commitment to implementing the eight Enlibra principles. This program will be formally adopted in 2004.
